“Patients suffering from dry eye disease can often become frustrated finding ways to manage the signs and symptoms of their condition. These patients often seek help from multiple practitioners and struggle to find relief. While their symptoms can range from mild to severe, the daily effects of their condition can significantly impact their quality of life. As technology improves and as we become more educated about underlying conditions that may contribute, we are finding new ways to help treat these patients. However, many of these treatments are not covered by insurance, and some practitioners can struggle with presenting these options to patients and having good success.”
